How Hermes energies effect a community

What happens to a community when many people are engaging Hermes energies?  I think that Fairfield, Iowa is a good example.  I remember back in the 1990's the town seemed to be dying. The population is about 10,000, and about 2500 or 3000 were here because of Transcendental Meditation.  The university, which was founded by the TM movement, and which brought many people here in the late 70's and early 80's, was struggling to get students, and many who had moved here couldn't afford the ~$100 a month to be able to meditate in the groups on campus. People were moving away, and often we wondered what would happen to the community here.

I first noticed in 2002 or 2003, the town started to have concerts on the square, and at the time a Saturn Bubbler was in an office which was on the square.  It seemed that there was a more lively feeling in people who were there for the concerts, there within less than a block of the Saturn Bubbler.

Gradually, more people have been engaging the Hermes energies regularly here, and there have been more Travelling Bubblers, Fractalizers, and more Thresholders in the community.  When the House Five Sky came out, about 10 were purchased and placed in the community.

Then came the Qualitative Evolution Bubbler, and the whole town has seemed to be more of an attractive place to live.  People are moving here who had nothing to do with the TM movement, because they felt something here.  Now with the Zoroastrian Bubbler here, this seems to be even more the case.

The city recently got awarded a listing of one of Iowa's Great Places, which brings grant money to help bring more tourism.  The First Friday's Art Walk (the first Friday of the month is a night when art galleries and shops around the downtown area are open, and there are often special events also) has attracted many people to visit.  A new Civic Center (the Sondheim Center for the performing arts) provides a venue for Broadway plays, and concerts.

The University is thriving and many people are coming to meditate there, such that there is a housing shortage in town.

So, I would say that there seems to be an enlivening of the energy and opening of the Heart in the community, and it attracts many people to come, who have no idea what really is attracting them there.
